3. How the Extension Works

CenuRadars operates entirely on your device and does not send any data to external servers. Here's what happens when you use the extension:

• Text Selection: When you select text and right-click, the extension captures only the selected text to search for prices
• Price Search: The extension searches Latvian shopping websites (Salidzini.lv, Kurpirkt.lv, SS.LV) for the selected product
• Results Display: Price results are displayed in a local popup window
• No Data Transmission: No information is sent to our servers or any third parties

4. Third-Party Websites

When you click on price results, you may be redirected to third-party shopping websites. These websites have their own privacy policies and data collection practices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.

5. Browser Permissions

CenuRadars requires the following browser permissions:

• activeTab: To inject the search interface into the current webpage
• contextMenus: To add the right-click menu option
• scripting: To run the extension's functionality
• storage: To save your language preference locally
• tabs: To open new tabs when you click on price results
• Host permissions: To access Latvian shopping websites for price comparison

6. Data Security

Since we don't collect any personal data, there's no personal information at risk. Your language preference is stored securely in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
